Students taking out loans are often completely unaware of the process that goes into the loan's approval. Without resources or feedback, this can be a nerve-wracking time for them. We want to help make the process easier, more approachable, and transparent.
I kept the bright color scheme and visual motifs of our website to help students trust that they were in the right place. After determining the borrower's primary goal (completing their loan application), I made sure to keep their current loan status very visible, so they could move on to the next step confidently. Since students often have to take out multiple loans per school year (and term), it was important to keep past loans visible, but not primary. Last, we want the dashboard to be a portal to access wraparound services that we offer them. As these develop, we will be featuring these services on the right, as well as reminding students to stay up-to-date on our social media.
